The reason for human stupidity has been discovered

We have been wondering for some time: why is there so much stupidity in the world? The answers we have given are many and give the blame once to this and once to that explanation, first of all, television. But in the end it would not be the fault of man or society, but according to a study by American researchers, of the stupidity virus . Or rather the ATCV-1 virus , very similar to that of a sore throat. It is the precision of an algae virus that was not known to infect humans, but which were found in oropharyngeal specimens obtained from healthy adults. These findings, however, are combined with the confirmation of a modest but measurable decrease in cognitive functioning.

The relationship between the virus and cognitive functioning was confirmed in mice, which resulted in changes in brain genes.

It seems to be a science fiction scenario, where alien invaders take possession of the human beings' minds to dull and command them. As the experimenters explain to us, the viruses are Clorovirus , which can infect some types of green algae, and which surprisingly managed to attack humans too. From DNA analysis performed on some infected patients, it was found that some DNA sequences of Chlorovirus Acanthocystis Turfacea Chlorella 1 (ATCV-1) were present in the oropharyngeal samples obtained from 40 of the 92 individuals tested (43%).
