Dukan diet to lose weight easily: but is it safe for health?

The Dukan method proposes a healthy diet based on the foods that primitive man ate when in ancient times we were hunter-gatherers.

It includes 100 foods , of which 72 are of animal origin and 28 of the vegetable kingdom. You can eat as much as you want, as long as you limit your choice to these 100 staples.

The diet consists of four distinct phases that are:

1) Attack phase. The short-term goal is to lose weight quickly: 2-5 kg ​​less within 2-10 days. It is said to be a useful way to surprise the metabolism . You can eat all foods that contain low-fat protein. So any kind of lean meat , fish, chicken, eggs, soy, light cheeses, ricotta, etc.

The only carbohydrate allowed is 1 and a half tablespoons of bran that is very rich in fiber and also helps suppress the hunger because it manages to satiate a lot. Drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day.

2) Cruise phase. 28 specific vegetables are added to the diet . Fruit is not allowed as too sugary. The goal is to help dieters reach their body weight more gradually. In every other day we have to eat a sunny proteins menu and a menu of protein and vegetables. The duration of the cruise phase helps to lose about 1 kg of weight per week. So, for example, if a person has to lose 10 kg, this phase will last 10 weeks.
